Ashton Wheelans has a proud history of supporting Māori Business endeavours. The firm has worked closely with Ngāi Tahu, local Runanga, and Māori business owners and understand the challenges these parties faced both in getting established and in growing.

For many years the firm was a preferred supplier of Māori business mentoring services via Te Puni kokiri.  The firm continues to manage land owner databases for many south Island Maori including Mawhera & Rakaia incorporations, Rakiura Māori Lands Trust, Kapunatiki & Tautuku blocks.
