Andrew has the usual qualifications you'd expect but his most valuable is a QBE (Qualified By Experience) with more than 20 years of experience advising a wide range of small and medium sized businesses, from launching a new business through various growth phases, shareholder changes and acquisitions, to succession and exit. He aims to help demystify the numbers, help overcome hurdles and encourage business owners to focus on their key business drivers.

Andrew sees technology as an enabler using real-time dashboards and key results indicators to unleash the potential in client businesses. He has a background in assurance & audit services and specialises in advisory services including mergers & acquisitions, business valuations and restructuring/turnaround. When the need arises he’s also an experienced insolvency specialist and is a Licenced Insolvency Practitioner.

Outside the office Andrew's governance and voluntary work includes being on the board of trustees for Nurse Maude, chair of the finance committee for Cathedral Grammar School and a committee member and presenter for the Christchurch Restructuring & Insolvency Special Interest Group.

In his spare time, he enjoys gyming, skiing, golf, mountain & road biking, boating and glamping.
